The Slipper Room no longer reserves seats. Seating for our shows is not theater-style. It is first come, first serve unless otherwise noted. For Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night burlesque, you should arrive no later than 10pm for your best chance at getting seats.

The Slipper Room accommodates many types of events: birthday parties, theater benefits, book/CD releases, you name it. Give James a call at 212-253-7246 to discuss terms. Please consider:

• If you want your party to be private. We do charge to close the room, but the amount will depend on the day and the duration of the party. We will charge $100 for a door person.



• If you want an open bar. We can provide an open bar in a number of ways ­ using drink tickets, keeping a tab, or charging your guests per head/per hour.



• If you plan to have any entertainment. The Slipper Room has two house microphones and an eight-channel vocal P.A. We do not have any amps, and ask that musicians bring their own direct input boxes.
  
  We also work with a network of performers -- DJs, go-go dancers, burlesque acts, comedians and musicians -- and can help you plan entertainment for your party.
  
  If you plan to have a band, we will charge $100 for a sound person.



• If you plan to have food. The Slipper Room has a kitchen and can provide simple buffets. We also have a relationship with several caterers or, if you prefer, you can use a caterer of your own choosing. There is a nominal charge for equipment and to ensure that the room is bussed adequately when food service is complete.
