He has twice been nominated for a Grammy, for his song “Dreams Come True”, recorded by Willie Nelson and Norah Jones, and also for his production of John Lithgow’s children’s album of Tin Pan Alley songs.

Since it’s opening in 1999, The Slipper Room has been New York City’s leading venue for neo-burlesque, performance art, and a variety of acts by both famous artists and up-and-coming acts in Manhattan’s entertainment scene including Lady Gaga, Rufus Wainwright, and Norah Jones, who debuted singing with JC Hopkins Biggish Band. The newly renovated venue seats up to 200 people in its seductive, balcony lined space while maintaining its underground charm.
